Did you ever take your child under 2 years of age to speech therapy?[?

My twins are 21 months old and they only say a few words if any. Are they too young for speech therapy? What would they do at a speech therapy session that I'm not already doing at home? (Like repetition exercises, etc.). If you have had any experiences, please let me know!
