Are there any concerns with The Genographic Project?

I am thinking about donating a swab of my DNA to the National Geographic Human Genome Project, also called The Genographic Project. Are there any realistic concerns out there? Given that I am not a Creationist, I think it would be a good way to support scientific research, and a fun way to learn about me. Are there any intelligent objections to doing so?
