Does Proactiv REALLY work?

Yeah, I saw the Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt testimonials. But they're Hollywood celebrites and have access to things that we "normal folk" don't. Does Proactiv really work? Does it really give results like those that are shown in their infomercials or is it an overpriced cosmetic that is only as good as Oxy?
