i think your best bet is to speak to a solicitor.just because n carter no longer works for them doesnt let them off the hook entirely.he entered into a contract with you on their behalf and they have a duty to find out whats happened to your money.the solicitor may advise you to take the matter to the small claims court but dont be put off by this as its pretty straightforward. best of luck.
