Does he like me back or not?

ok well ive known this guy (guy a) for almost a year now, and throughout that year most of the time (except for the summer) we talked almost everyday for more than an hour at least and hung out a lot, and he normally texted me first and ive had feelings for him for a long time. But then i started going out with my bestfriend (guy b) 5 months ago, but the day after i got together with him, guy a just out of no where stopped talking to me, but a month into my relationship i texted him and asked if we were still friends and he said "im game if you are :)" but we didnt talk again after that. guy b and i broke up about 2 months ago, and i emailed the guy a and asked him if we were stilled friends and asked him why he had stopped talking to me and told him subtly that me and guy b broke up, but when he replied he sounded angry and then last month my friend, guy c, told him i liked him and said guy a, withot me knowing, that he should go out with me and he said yeah maybe. We sarted taling about two weeks ago and stopped talking for a day or two, then he started asking me some random question out of no where, and then we made up. the past 4 days weve talked everyday again for atleast an hour and things seem to be going great again..but my friend was talking to me and she said that if he is talking to me this much and hasnt tried anyhthing, then he isnt into me. He is a really shy and quite guy normally, and doesnt go to my school, so i dunno whats going on. plee help :/
